Finn Balor shared a cryptic message ahead of WWE Bad Blood today on social media. The former Universal Champion will be competing in a singles match against Damian Priest tomorrow night at the premium live event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Balor betrayed Damian Priest at SummerSlam during his match against Gunther. The Judgment Day star put The Ring General's boot on the ropes to break up a pinfall attempt by The Archer of Infamy. Gunther capitalized on the distraction to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.
Ahead of Bad Blood, Balor took to Instagram to share that he was reading The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli. He added the caption "Bad Blood" with flames surrounding the words, and you can check it out on his Instagram Story by clicking here.

The Judgment Day has changed a lot over the past few months. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley were both betrayed at SummerSlam, and Liv Morgan has been added to the faction as she is in a storyline relationship with Dominik Mysterio. Morgan will be defending her Women's World Championship against Ripley at Bad Blood, with Dirty Dom trapped inside a shark cage for the match.
Former WWE writer claims Finn Balor is not over with fans
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently suggested that Finn Balor was not a worthy opponent for Damian Priest.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo show, the veteran claimed that Damian Priest would not get over as a babyface while in a rivalry with Balor. Russo claimed that the 43-year-old was not over as a heel on WWE RAW.
"Everybody has just accepted the way things are and I am the one who doesn't know what I am talking about. Bro, it's the same thing... We have got Damian Priest and Finn Balor. You are trying to get Damian Priest over as a babyface but in order to get him over as a babyface, the heel has to be over. Finn Balor is not over." [0:46 onwards]

The veteran and JD McDonagh are the reigning World Tag Team Champions on WWE RAW. It will be fascinating to see if Balor can defeat Priest tomorrow night at WWE Bad Blood.
