WWE Superstars usually have a good idea of their upcoming opponents. When a wrestler leaves the company and returns to the indies, there are new opponents waiting to capitalize on the buzz as the possibilities for rivalries and matches are endless. A certain wrestler just left WWE amid some controversy, and has now found out the big name he will be wrestling next.
Dijak is no longer with WWE due to his contract expiring this week. The company chose not to renew, and Dijak is already a free agent as there was no 90-day non-compete clause due to the deal running out. After making his surprise first post-WWE appearance on Saturday night, the 37-year-old is now booked for multiple wrestling events, and is set to lock up with a current champion with multiple titles.
The Tall Don was expected to receive booking offers from at least two European wrestling promotions before he officially left WWE. Now he is headed to Coventry, England to work for RevPro. The top UK promotion has announced the former NXT Superstar for its Live In Coventry show on Sunday, July 28 at HMV Empire. Dijak is set to wrestle popular star Michael Oku.
The Master of the Half-Crab is the current Revolution Pro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, but he also holds the Jericho Cruise Oceanic Championship, the Purpose Wrestling Championship, and the Riot Cabaret World Championship. It wasn't clear if the 31-year-old will be defending his RevPro title against Dijak.

He will also make his Prestige Wrestling debut at the Roseland 9 event, which will also feature Deadlock Pro and West Coast Pro Wrestling. Dijak release causes concern within WWE
World Wrestling Entertainment chose not to renew Dijak's contract this week. He is now a free agent as there was no non-compete clause as the contract ran out.
The former RAW and NXT Superstar recently announced his departure, and revealed that officials did not hold contract negotiations. Furthermore, the former Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion had reportedly tried to pitch various ideas and storylines, but had no luck.
Dijak's departure and how officials handled everything has seemingly led to significant concern backstage. It was recently reported how there is hope that the way the company parted ways with Dijak is not the new normal moving forward.
WWE drafted Dijak from NXT to RAW during the Draft 2024 in late April. He had one loss to Pete Dunne on Main Event, and one loss to Xavier Woods on Speed before his release.
