A former AEW star just confirmed his current status and had some thought about his future too. He said he will not join WWE anytime soon.
Santana was an instrumental member in the AEW roster during the company's initial years. He was part of Chris Jericho's faction called the Inner Circle. For years, Santana and Ortiz tormented the tag team division with brutal and violent matches. However, after the faction dissolved, Santana's role became less prominent and he eventually left the company in 2024. Following his departure, he returned to TNA Wrestling where he has been a regular fixture.
Recently, Santana posted a picture of himself with Penta El Zero Miedo. Since Penta is rumored to be headed to World Wrestling Entertainment, one fan asked him if he was also headed to the Stamford-based promotion. The former AEW star replied that he will not join WWE anytime soon since he was happy where he's at.
"Na. Just supporting my boy. I’m exactly where I need to be right now. And it shows!"
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

Santana previously commented on joining WWE
Santana has been doing some amazing things since he returned to TNA. He has been able to reinvent himself and has established himself as a top star in the company. This may help explain why he is happy in his current role. While he may have indicated that he will not join the WWE anytime soon, it doesn't mean that he won't in the future.
During a recent interview with Tim Hann Rivera, Santana said that he has not closed the doors on potentially joining the Stamford-based promotion since that is the ultimate goal in the end.
"But again, everyone's ultimate goal is to go to WWE. That's the top, right? We'll see. We'll see how life presents itself and how things go, man, but I never leave any door closed. That's one thing that you always learn in life, in general, you don't burn bridges, you don't leave doors closed. I think it would be pretty cool." said Santana. [H/T - Fightful]
It will be interesting to see if Santana will join World Wrestling Entertainment in the future, especially after seeing the way the WWE creative team, led by Triple H has treated wrestlers from other promotions such as TNA like Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry.
