A current WWE star has taken to social media to finally announce that he's leaving the company after voicing his grievances for several weeks. The person in question is NXT star Brooks Jensen.

The former NXT UK Tag Team Champion has been taking digs at the Stamford-based company and the head booker of NXT, Shawn Michaels, for quite some time now. He even confronted Booker T and Vic Joseph at one point during a show while they were doing commentary.

Furthermore, the 22-year-old took a big shot at WWE and Shawn Michaels on X/Twitter after TNA wrestler Frankie Kazarian made a surprise appearance on this week's NXT.

Before the show started, Brooks Jensen posted a clip on X/Twitter, questioning why he wasn't booked for NXT this week. Jensen then went on to say that he could not bring any value to the show because Shawn Michaels didn't see any value in him. The upstart then announced that he was leaving WWE soon.

"Why am I not on NXT tonight? I am laying here and I'm just drinking, I'm just like, 'Man, only if I was on the show tonight. What can I do to bring value to the product?' I guess to the booker man, I just bring no value. So what do I do for the next three days? Do I just sit around? Do I wait? I don't know. I just wanted to go on here and express my emotions that I'm leaving WWE. Soon, you'll hear back from Ben Buchanan," Jensen said. (H/T: Fightful)

Ben Buchanan is Jensen's real name, and he has already changed his moniker on social media amid widespread speculation about his future.

Brooks Jensen was arrested on WWE NXT this week

On this week's episode of NXT, Brooks Jensen tried to cause more trouble. During Oba Femi and Wes Lee's segment, he attempted to sneak into the ring, but he was stopped by security.

After the segment, he was arrested, as he could be seen being loaded into what looked like a police vehicle. This took place during Eddy Thorpe's backstage interview on NXT. It'll be interesting to see how things play out with Brooks Jensen's storyline.
