The WWE creative situation is an ongoing story and has been for several years. While the product and the process has reportedly improved under the Triple H regime, it's no secret that creative-related frustration has been an issue. Now one veteran is opening up about being frustrated with late changes.

Nic Nemeth fka Dolph Ziggler signed with WWE in mid-2004 and had an impressive run that lasted over 19 years before getting released in September 2023. The former World Heavyweight Champion received several pushes over the years and was involved in storylines with names such as AJ Lee, Robert Roode, Big E, The Spirit Squad, and Vickie Guerrero, among others.

The current TNA World Champion recently spoke with Busted Open Radio and noted that he and others backstage would try and make the best of their less-than-ideal situations. The Show Off seemingly confirmed many reports on how RAW and SmackDown were edited as late as showtime.

"You'd hear [people wondering], 'What are we doing tonight?' and then, 'Well, I heard the entire show just got ripped in half at 5:45pm,'" Nic Nemeth recalled. [H/T to WrestlingInc]

Nemeth pointed to how it was up to the wrestlers to do what they could to make things special, as he and Matt Cardona fka Zack Ryder did with their rivalry by uploading self-made promos to Cardona's YouTube. The Cleveland native had an additional strategy to help fans see feuds as good stories: he'd use his selling to make fans think there was more invested in the match.

The Natural had some advice for up-and-coming wrestlers who might be dealing with similar frustrations. Nemeth said if talents do not have the chance to do proper story-telling, they should do it through the selling of the match to make things bigger for down the line in case they get another shot.

Dolph Ziggler praises WWE veterans

Nic Nemeth fka Dolph Ziggler has been wrestling since 2004 when he signed his first WWE developmental contract. He was released last year after 19 years but spent much of his career on the roster with two other veterans: Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio.

The former WWE Superstar recently appeared on Busted Open and named Orton and Mysterio as two wrestlers who should be on everyone's G.O.A.T. list.

"When it comes to [Rey Mysterio] and Randy [Orton], it's two people that should be on everyone's list, but you don't hear that that much. Yeah, everyone asks the greatest of all time, they always say a handful of people, but Rey Mysterio, by the way, still going, 35 years," Dolph Ziggler said.

Nemeth went on to praise Rey for his in-ring style, declaring him to be the best babyface talent to work with. He also revealed why he enjoys beating Mysterio up.
