MVP reveals popular WWE stars were considered for The Hurt Business
MVP recently shared that both Bianca Belair and Naomi were discussed as potential members of The Hurt Business faction.
Belair and Jade Cargill were the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions before they were dethroned by The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) at Clash at the Castle: Scotland. Naomi walked out of WWE in 2022 but returned earlier this year during the Women's Royal Rumble Match.
A wrestling fan asked MVP on social media if The EST was ever considered for a spot in the group and he confirmed that she was. He shared that he had discussions with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley about Bianca and Naomi joining the faction but the company had other plans for both stars.
"Me, Bobby and Shelton discussed both Trinity and Bianca as an addition. But they had other plans for both of them," he wrote.
Shelton Benjamin recently opened up about the company's decision to disband The Hurt Business and shared that Vince McMahon thought they had gone as far as they could with the faction. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for MVP moving forward.
