Tonight's WWE RAW is set to be another action-packed episode. The build to Crown Jewel will continue tonight while the red brand prepares for the Netflix era to kick off in January. Officials have booked a grudge match for RAW this week, which will also serve as a major milestone bout for two veteran Superstars.
The Awesome Truth reunited this year for the first time since 2019. The Miz and R-Truth won the WWE World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XL but dropped the straps to JD McDonagh and Finn Balor 79 days later. Following a two-month hiatus, Truth recently returned to help his longtime partner and rival battle The Final Testament. Truth's good deed backfired as The Miz turned heel while wrestling AOP, attacking Truth to let Akam and Rezar win.
The A-Lister and Truth have gone back and forth since then but will lock up in a grudge match on tonight's live RAW episode. This will be the 11th televised singles match between Miz and Truth. Going into tonight's show, their series of TV singles matches is led by Truth at 5-4, with one draw.
The last Miz vs. R-Truth singles bout before tonight saw Truth win on WWE RAW in October 2022. The veteran Superstars have also worked around 22 singles matches at non-televised live events over the years. Truth currently leads that series 18-4.
