WWE Superstar Roman Reigns and The Usos suffered a staggering defeat against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at Crown Jewel 2024. The OTC failed to regain the Ula Fala at the premium live event, as Sikoa successfully made a statement by pinning him. Following the bout, former SmackDown star Matt Morgan criticized the company's decision to have Reigns take the pinfall.

On the Gigantic Pop podcast, the pro wrestler-turned-politician talked about the six-man tag team match between the new and the OG Bloodline. He said the company should have protected Reigns from being pinned considering his top-star status. He added that the OTC taking a pinfall loss was one of the low points of the premium live event.

“I thought you said the pay-per-view s***ed. It did, and this is part of why it s***ed. They kicked the event off with [sic] having Superman of their company, the modern-day John Cena, if you will, but better, Roman Reigns, taking a pinfall. You don't give a Roman Reigns pinfall, you know, where they were at tonight, in my opinion,” Morgan said.

Roman Reigns and The Usos are in a weak position now

Roman Reigns had built some momentum in his feud against The Bloodline after his win against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu alongside Cody Rhodes. However, he lost that advantage at Crown Jewel and also ate multiple Samoan Spikes from The Tribal Chief.

As for The Usos, Jimmy Uso has yet to make an impact following his comeback from a six-month hiatus and hasn’t contributed much to the team. Meanwhile, Jey Uso lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker because of Jacob Fatu.

The Yeet Master managed to make the Tongans lose their tag team title the following week. However, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have a good chance of reclaiming the gold using the numbers advantage. Reigns’ team also lacks much-needed trust and coordination. Moreover, Sami Zayn coming out to save the OTC in Riyadh but planting a kick in his face didn’t help their cause.

It will be interesting to see how the OG Bloodline resolves this lack of trust between its members before locking horns with the Sikoa-led group once again.
