There will be a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned at Night of Champions
Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins is the first person to advance to the next round of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament.

A couple of weeks ago, Triple H shocked the WWE Universe when he unveiled the new World Heavyweight Championship belt. A new champion is set to be crowned at Night of Champions on May 27. A tournament in that regard was announced ahead of Backlash and will see four Triple Threat matches take place on RAW and SmackDown, with the winners going on to the semi-finals and then the finals.
The tournament kicked off tonight on RAW as Damian Priest, Seth Rollins, and Shinsuke Nakamura squared off against each other in the opening match.

The match itself was intense, and all men got a good bit of offense in the bout. However, Rollins managed to walk away the winner after he pinned Nakamura with a pedigree.

After this win, Seth Rollins will now face the winner of the next Triple Threat match, Finn Balor, in the main event. If he wins the match, he will head to the finals at Night of Champions.
