Former Universal Champion and 40-year-old star save Jey Uso from The Bloodline after SmackDown goes off the air

This year’s final episode of Friday Night SmackDown was a chaotic edition with multiple important segments and events that might mark major happenings in the coming weeks. Cody Rhodes made his surprise return and requested Nick Aldis to book a Ladder Match between him and Kevin Owens. The general manager officially booked the bout for Royal Rumble 2025.

Although Jey Uso was not on the show, he competed in a dark match against Chad Gable and won. However, before he could leave the arena, Solo Sikoa, alongside his heel crew, launched an attack on him before he was saved by two major stars.

During the show, The Bloodline attacked Sami Zayn, while Braun Strowman was chasing Carmelo Hayes. However, The Monster of all Monsters decided to help Zayn against the heel faction and had an intense brawl with The Bloodline 2.0 before he was outnumbered and taken out.

However, former Universal Champion Braun Strowman, alongside 40-year-old star Sami Zayn, rushed out to save Jey, and together the babyfaces overpowered Sikoa’s heel stable and stood tall at the end.

Former Universal Champion Braun Strowman might face serious trouble on SmackDown in the coming weeks as he has willingly picked a fight against Solo Sikoa and his The Bloodline. The heel faction could punish The Monster of all Monsters by launching a surprise ambush on him on the upcoming edition of the blue brand.

These back-and-forths might embark on a new feud for Solo Sikoa on the blue brand if Roman Reigns ends The Bloodline Saga at the season premiere episode of RAW on Netflix. However, this is speculative for now. It remains to be seen what plans the creative team has in store for SmackDown in the coming months.
