A popular WWE Superstar has hinted that a major event could be getting a sequel. The message prompted a legend of the Stamford-based promotion, Mickie James, to respond and demand to be a part of it.

Women's Champion Bayley appeared on WWE's The Bump earlier this week and praised the Queen of the Ring Tournament. The former Damage CTRL member took to her official X (formerly Twitter) account today to repost the clip and added the caption "Evolution 2."

WWE Evolution is a discontinued pay-per-view event (now referred to as premium live event) that featured only female stars in 2018. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch had a memorable Last Woman Standing match at the PPV, and Ronda Rousey defeated Nikki Bella to retain the RAW Women's Championship in the main event.

Mickie James and Alicia Fox were defeated by the team of Trish Stratus and Lita at the now-discontinued pay-per-view. James took to social media to react to Bayley's post and said that there would not be an Evolution 2 without her being a part of it.

"Not without ME!," she wrote.

Mickie James shares who she would want to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame

Wrestling veteran Mickie James has disclosed who she would want to induct her into the Hall of Fame. James was released by the promotion in 2021 and competed in TNA Wrestling following her departure. She currently serves as the Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer for Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Speaking with Riju Dasgupta of Sportskeeda Wrestling in an exclusive interview in 2022, the five-time Women's Champion named Trish Stratus as the star she would pick to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame. James noted that she learned a lot from Stratus during her time in the company.

"I would say for WWE, Trish [Stratus] because she was my first. Just the first time, I won the championship, and she was there with me and helped guide me. My first real like two years there, year and a half like that whole to really get me ready, she took her time with me. She was patient with me because I knew how to wrestle. I knew how to work," said James.

Mickie James added that although she could hold her own inside the ring, Stratus taught her various backstage aspects, including the company's different camera angles. She was grateful to Stratus as all her help made the former's transition from Ohio Valley Wrestling, where she had been training, to World Wrestling Entertainment very smooth.
