Former world champion viciously attacks Cody Rhodes; costs him a title opportunity on WWE RAW

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Brock Lesnar annihilated Cody Rhodes. The Beast cost the latter an opportunity to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at the upcoming Night of Champions.

Tonight, Judgment Day's Finn Balor, The Miz, and Rhodes battled in a triple-threat match in the second round of the tournament to determine the new World Heavyweight Champion.

During the match, The Miz went after The American Nightmare, who ducked out of the way. Balor and The A-Lister rolled out of the ring again, and the American Nightmare flew through the middle ropes and landed on his opponents.

In the closing moments, all three men were hell-bent on emerging victorious as Rhodes had The Miz set for a pin but was pulled out of the ring by Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, the Judgment Day member successfully hit The Miz with a Coup de Grace and won the match.

Brock Lesnar viciously attacked Cody Rhodes with an F5 on the announcer's table outside the ring and mocked him by saying, "So Cody, what do you want to talk about?"

The Beast looked battered as he boldly claimed he wanted a fight against Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions. It remains to be seen how The American Nightmare would respond to Lesnar's attack.
