A former WWE champion did something amazing for his community in Florida while also doing a very wonderful deed that made headlines. Titus O'Neil currently serves as the company's Global Ambassador and has always lived up to the billing as "one of the most philanthropic superstars in WWE history."

The inaugural 24/7 champion was doing charity work in Tampa along with some volunteers by donating school supplies at Sligh Middle School. It was just a normal day for the WWE star, who is known for giving back to his community.

According to People magazine, O'Neil helped two abandoned dogs get rescued at the same time as his donation drive. A couple of pit bulls, who were likely used for fighting, were abandoned near the school, and when the former tag team champ found out about them, he called the Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB).

"It was an incredibly hot day, so they were thirsty, hungry, and confused, as is the case with most abandoned animals. Since coming to HSTB, they have received the water and food they needed," a statement from HSTB read.

The pit bulls, now named Biggie and Bertha, are currently in a safe space and their ear infection is being treated. They will be up for adoption as soon as they have recovered from their ordeal.

Has Titus O'Neil wrestled his last WWE match?

Titus O'Neil has not wrestled a match since failing to capture the United States Championship from Bobby Lashley on WWE RAW almost four years ago. O'Neil has made sporadic appearances as a color commentator but has not performed as a wrestler since November 9, 2020.

In an interview at last year's SummerSlam community charity event, O'Neil was asked about his future. He's not ready to retire just yet and won't call his match against Lashley his last.

"Have you seen my last match? I don’t think so. Again, like everything, you never say never in this business. And so I would consistently say no; I don’t think so, but time will tell," O'Neil said. [H/T: WrestleZone]

In addition to serving as a Global Ambassador for the largest wrestling promotion in the world, O'Neil also does charity work and recently got a small part in a Hollywood film starring his good friend and wrestling legend Batista.
