Former WWE champion makes SmackDown in-ring return after 576 days; debuts new theme song

Ahead of his match against LA Knight at WWE Survivor Series for the United States Championship, Shinsuke Namakura collided with Andrade on the latest episode of SmackDown. This was his first time competing on the blue brand in over a year.

The King of Strong Style also debuted a new theme song and had a special entrance. During the bout, Andrade took out the heel star with a crossbody off the top rope and sent him to the floor with a hurricanrana. El Idolo tried to go for a suicide dive but ran into a kick.

Andrade took out Shinsuke Nakamura at ringside with a moonsault off the top rope. He hit another moonsault in the ring and got a two-count. The WWE star tried to go for The Message but Nakamura evaded it. The King of Strong Style hit an overhead elbow but missed a Kinshasa.

Andrade planted Shinsuke with two vertical suplexes and hit the third suplex onto the turnbuckles. Andrade went for a meteora but ran into an exposed turnbuckle after Shinsuke Nakamura got out of the way. Finally, The Artist hit a Kinshasa and got the victory.

After the bout, LA Knight tried to attack Shinsuke Nakamura. However, the latter blinded him with a black mist. Only time will tell which one of them will walk out of WWE Survivor Series as US Champion.
