The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods became arguably the biggest WWE heels when they turned on an inactive Big E. Recently, Karrion Kross publicly apologized to Kingston and praised his bond with Woods.
Earlier this year, Karrion Kross and The Final Testament feuded with The New Day for weeks, and the two sides eventually ended the rivalry on Monday Night RAW. However, no superstar or team remains the same after crossing paths with The Herald of Doomsday and his clan.
Today, Karrion Kross issued a public apology to The New Day's Kofi Kingston for doubting him and his actions in the past. Moreover, the two-time NXT Champion praised Xavier Woods and their heartfelt story as brothers fighting against everyone.
"I woke up this morning with a bit of guilt, I just want to take a moment to do this publicly and apologize to @TrueKofi. I had him all wrong. Right now is a great time to look inwards for everyone to do the same. Him and @AustinCreedWins banning together as brothers against the world takes bravery that most people don’t have. They have an incredibly inspiring story," Kross wrote.
The New Day could feud with The Usos, says WWE analyst
The New Day received a new lease on life on their tenth anniversary when Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned heel on Big E and removed him from the faction. Kingston and Woods are no longer loved by the audience and will likely wreak havoc in the coming weeks on WWE RAW.
On the Cheap Heat podcast, Peter Rosenberg said Big E could get help from The Usos and be in their corner in a potential feud with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods (aka The New Day) on WWE RAW.
"The idea that Big E gets ganged up on, and then The Usos end up saving Big E. And then, you get The New Day versus The Usos with Big E in the corner of The Usos, I think that would be mage," Rosenberg said.
The two legendary WWE tag teams have feuded on different brands in the past. However, a potential rivalry with their roles reversed would be interesting to watch.
