A former WWE champion's 707-day losing streak on SmackDown continued tonight. He has not won on the blue brand in 2022.

Baron Corbin hasn't had the best luck in his WWE career. He started on a promising note in NXT, but things went sideways after he was moved to the main roster. Despite being involved in some big storylines, he was rarely on the winning side.
As a result, Baron Corbin was moved to NXT, where he again reinvented himself and started over. During this time, he formed a successful tag team with Bron Breakker and even won the NXT Tag Team Championship. After losing the tag titles, Corbin wasn't seen on television until recently.

Last week, Legado Del Fantasma attacked Corbin attacked him when Apollo Crews stepped in and made the save, setting up a tag match tonight.
Corbin and Crews were in control of their match for the most part. During the match, Corbin attacked Santos Escobar on the outside. However, Escobar still managed to get involved and attacked Crews, allowing Angel to pick up the win for his team.
This loss extends Corbin's losing streak on WWE SmackDown to 707 days. He started losing his matches on August 5, 2022. It remains to be seen when Baron Corbin will be able to break this losing streak.
