Several weeks ago on WWE SmackDown, Santos Escobar collided with Apollo Crews in a singles match, and he was victorious after nine minutes. The two stars faced each other again on the SummerSlam go-home show, and the Legado Del Fantasma leader won in an even shorter time.

During the match, Santos Escobar hit the former WWE United States Champion with a dropkick and a few strikes in the corner. He then nailed the latter with an enzuigiri while on the apron, followed by a springboard elbow drop.

Apollo Crews hit Santos with a belly-to-belly suplex and a clothesline. Angel tried to interfere, but Baron Corbin, who was at ringside, delivered a blow to the Legado Del Fantasma member. Berto also tried to interfere, but Apollo knocked him down.

Apollo nailed Santos Escobar with a moonsault and got a two-count. Someone under the ring grabbed Corbin, and Escobar planted Crews with the Phantom Driver to win. The match only lasted three and a half minutes.

Apollo Crews has yet to win a match since arriving on SmackDown. His last win was on the December 18, 2023, episode of WWE Main Event, where he defeated Brooks Jensen.
