Former WWE champion sends heartfelt message to R-Truth

A popular WWE Superstar recently shared a heartwarming update on social media featuring R-Truth. The name in question is Natalya.

The Team of R-Truth and The Miz, The Awesome Truth, became Tag Team Champions after pulling down a set of titles in the Six-Pack Challenge ladder match at WrestleMania XL. A-Town Down Under retrieved the other set of titles. Both teams were presented with new championship belts.

R-Truth and The Miz were crowned as the World Tag Team Champions. The duo has continued to showcase some impressive performances, having defended their titles against DIY and Alpha Academy on RAW last month.

Former WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya recently took to X/Twitter to share an adorable picture with Truth. She accompanied the image with a message for the 52-year-old, referring to him as a friend for life:

"A friend for life. @RonKillings," she wrote.

Natalya also shed light on a few details regarding the picture as the 42-year-old praised Truth.

Under the same tweet, Natalya responded to a reply from a user rightly guessing the show and the location where the picture was taken. The former WWE Divas Champion revealed it was her first Independent show outside Canada. She further praised R-Truth, recalling how kind he was to her during the show:

"That was my first independent show I was able to get booked on outside Canada. Truth was so kind to me. I always remembered it. That’s just who he is," she wrote.

Natalya is one of the longest-serving female performers associated with the Stamford-based company. Her most recent in-ring appearance was alongside Karmen Petrovic as the duo defeated Shayna Baszler and Lola Vice on NXT.

The Awesome Truth will defend their titles against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh at the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. On the latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, The Judgment Day members defeated New Catch Republic, AOP, and The Creed Brothers in a fatal four-way tag team match to become the #1 Contenders for the titles.
