A multi-time WWE Champion recently shared a social media update to show off brutal battle scars following the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. He competed in a high-stakes contest during the show.

In the third match of the night, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker defended his title against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser in a Triple-Threat match. The three RAW Superstars have been involved in an intense rivalry for several weeks. Although both the challengers put forward impressive performances, the 27-year-old retained his title.

Earlier today, Sheamus posted a video on X/Twitter to reveal the punishment he was subjected to during the contest. The Irishman had bruises all over his back and left arm.

WWE Superstar Sheamus opens up about career-threatening injury

Sheamus was forced out of in-ring action for a while due to neck and shoulder injuries he sustained last year. The Celtic Warrior returned to WWE television earlier this year after an absence of over eight months.

During a conversation with fellow WWE Superstar Randy Orton on his Celtic Warrior Workouts YouTube channel, the 46-year-old pointed out he was in contact with the 14-time World Champion while dealing with his neck injury. Sheamus claimed to have faced several setbacks, one after the other, on his road to recovery.

"When I was going through my neck stuff I was calling you and texting you. Normally I'm the type of guy who goes in, gotta get it [surgery] done once, one and done, and then it was a different thing for me because it took me so much longer. Then I went down and I bumped [practiced in a wrestling ring] and I kept getting stingers, so eventually it went away," he said. [From 6:19 – 6:38]

The Intercontinental Championship is the only major title absent from Sheamus' cabinet. It remains to be seen if he will ever win the IC Title to become a Grand Slam Champion.
