A former WWE champion has teased an in-ring return after being taken out by Kevin Owens at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. The star has not competed in a televised wrestling match in nine years.

The Prizefighter was scheduled to lock horns with Randy Orton at the Saudi Arabian PLE. However, the match never got underway as KO attacked The Viper with a chair even before the bell rang. A massive brawl then broke out between the two, which saw them take out a referee, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, and former WWE Superstars Shawn Daivari and Jamie Noble.

Two days after getting punched in the face by Owens, Noble took to his Instagram account to tease an in-ring return. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion posted a picture of himself from his last match along with a message for fans.

"What a night!!! My last match 😣.. #jamienoble #wwe #wweraw #wwesmackdown #wweuniverse," he wrote.

Jamie Noble's last televised WWE match was in June 2015. He teamed up with fellow J&J Security member Joey Mercury to defeat Seth Rollins in a Two-on-One Handicap Match. He returned to the squared circle only once after that, alongside Braun Strowman and The Brauling Brutes to score a win over The Bloodline at a house show in December 2022.

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton might face serious punishment for their actions at WWE Crown Jewel

Kevin Owens turned heel at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event last month by attacking Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the parking lot after the show. The 40-year-old was then suspended for his actions.

Owens followed it up by attacking Randy Orton the following week to set up a clash with the 14-time world champion at Crown Jewel. Although the match never got underway, the two superstars will likely receive some punishment for taking out multiple officials during their massive brawl.

Elsewhere on the show, Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to become the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Champion. Now that the Saudi Arabian premium live event is in the books, The American Nightmare can shift his focus back on the storyline involving recently turned rival, Kevin Owens, and long-time friend Randy Orton.
