Every WWE Superstar has their own unique identity, look, and persona. Sami Zayn similarly stands out for various reasons. However, former head writer Vince Russo wasn't too impressed by the former Intercontinental Champion's hair.

Despite undergoing multiple appearance changes over the years, Sami Zayn has retained the image of a normal guy who many fans can relate to more than Sami's physically bigger peers.

The argument about Zayn trying to look like an "everyday man" wasn't something Vince Russo bought as he blasted the WWE RAW Superstar for his untidy presentation.

Russo mentioned popular actor Zach Galifianakis of Hangover fame and instantly shut down the alleged purpose behind why Sami Zayn appears the way he does while speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW.

"He doesn't look like an everyday man, he looks like the poor man's version of Zach Galifianakis. That's not what every man looks like, bro." [40:06 - 40:23]

Vince Russo was unrelenting with his criticism as he wondered if Sami Zayn was using motor oil on his hair.

Russo has watched Sami since his NXT days and admitted that short hair and an orderly shave more suited the superstar. The former WWE writer continued:

"Bro, does Sami Zayn wash his hair with motor oil? Bro, seriously! I can't take Sami Zayn's hair! I can't take it, bro! It looks like a freaking rat's nest! You are on TV, bro! You are on TV. I've said this a million times. When he was on NXT, he was shaved neatly, had short hair, and wore a cap. Bro, you looked like a million bucks. I don't know what look you're going after. I swear to god! Bro, it looks like you wash your hair with WD40. I'm just being honest." [38:50 - 39:37]

Sami Zayn picked up a win over The Miz on Monday Night RAW this week and while it hasn't been announced yet, the 40-year-old could announce himself for the WWE Royal Rumble match sooner rather than later.
