A former WWE Superstar recently broke down in tears while discussing her emotional exit from the Stamford-based promotion. She also sent a threat to IYO SKY ahead of the latter's major match in Japan. The name in question is Sareee, also known as Sarray.
The 28-year-old joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2020 but could not travel to the United States because of COVID-19 restrictions. She was allowed to continue wrestling on different independent promotions in Japan before making her debut on the Stamford-based promotion's developmental brand, NXT. After wrestling for a few years, Sarray parted ways with WWE in March 2023.
Sareee is currently set to face Giulia in the semi-finals of the Marigold Ryogoku Kokugikan tournament. Meanwhile, IYO SKY is also set to return to Japan after several years to face Utami Hayashishita in the semis of the same tournament.
During an interview with Tokyo Sports, the former Sarray talked about an emotional exit from WWE in 2023. She broke down in tears while discussing how IYO SKY wished her good luck and told her that they would meet again someday.
