Former WWE star claims Randy Orton asked him about returning

A former WWE Superstar has claimed that Randy Orton has discussed a possible return with him. Randy Orton missed over a year due to a back injury but returned at Survivor Series 2023 in Chicago.

Matt Riddle and Randy Orton were once a popular tag team known as RK-Bro. However, Riddle was released from the company last year following an odd incident at JFK Airport in New York.

In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, The Original Bro shared that he still keeps in contact with Orton. He said The Viper recently asked him about returning to WWE but stated he is more focused on trying to get his life together at the moment.

“I talked to Randy probably a week and a half, two weeks ago about an arcade, we talked about some other stuff, just hanging out. He always asks me if I wanna come back, and I’m like, ‘Maybe one day.’ Right now, with the kid and everything, I’m enjoying my time, and I’m trying to get my life all together. Not that you’ll ever get your life together, but yeah, you know, things have been really good. I’m focusing a lot on myself and other things," said Riddle. [H/T: WrestleZone]

Randy Orton says it is nice having Vince McMahon out of WWE

SmackDown star Randy Orton recently disclosed that it is nice having Vince McMahon out of the company. The former WWE CEO Vince McMahon stepped down from the company after he was accused of sexual misconduct and trafficking by Janel Grant.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter earlier this month, Randy Orton commented on Vince McMahon's departure from the company. The Legend Killer noted that the 78-year-old did a lot for him during his career, but it was a positive that he was gone.

"All the opportunities he [Vince McMahon] gave me, it's nice having him out of there and it's nice having his son-in-law, Triple H, running the game. Nick Khan's great. Everybody in TKO that's come in, stepped in, they seem to get it, and it's just a different era," Orton said. [4:19 – 4:35]
