Former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon was at the top of the company for several decades. While he invested a lot of time with the top guys and was concerned about their booking, the stars on the lower card often reported that they got very little face time with the former boss.
Vince McMahon had to step away from his roles within WWE after a lawsuit filed by former employee Ms. Janel Grant surfaced. The lawsuit was paused for six months pending a federal investigation on the 78-year-old.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dr. Chris Featherstone, former WWE star Dijak spoke about his interactions with Vince McMahon. He recalled that he barely saw the boss during his time at NXT. However, when he moved to the main roster, he spent some time with McMahon. Their discussions didn't bear much fruit as all of the 37-year-old's pitches didn't fly with the then-CEO.
"Vince was basically inaccessible to NXT talent unless they were directly requested by him. I only heard of that happening once or twice ever. On RAW, I would speak to him after matches but that was usually brief. If I had a pitch to make I would do that before Raw in his office. I pitched probably six things directly to him over the course of two years but they were all unsuccessful."
Dijak recently parted ways with WWE. His contract expired on June 28 and since then, he has been making appearances on the independent scene. He was also backstage at AEW Forbidden Door, interacting with some stars of that company.
