The sad news of Mike Taylor's untimely demise has hit the WWE Universe and the pro wrestling world. The former developmental star passed away at the age of 47. Notably, he wrestled for the company’s Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South Wrestling territories in 2006.
Born Michael Sharrer, he often appeared in WWE programming for enhancement roles before being released in 2007. By this time, however, he had also worked on motion capture materials for multiple WWE video games.
Following his exit from the Triple H-led company, Mike Taylor mostly started using a new ring name, Micah Taylor. Hailing from Hawaii, Sharrer also used the ring name Sandy Beach, especially in his home state and Japan. Taylor was constantly present in the southern independent pro wrestling scenes, especially in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
His popularity and hard work also took him to several international pro wrestling scenes, including South Korea, the UK, and his notable ZERO-ONE Tour in Japan. Several stars, especially those who knew and worked with him, are sharing their sincere condolences and paying their respects to the late Mike Taylor.
The Sportskeeda community extends its heartfelt condolences to Mike's family and loved ones.
