WWE star Sol Ruca has been bagging a lot of praise from the pro wrestling industry for a long time now. Recently, the NXT star competed in a big match in TNA Wrestling as part of its collaboration with the Stamford-based promotion. Interestingly, her performance at the event got the attention of former WWE star Sami Callihan, who reacted to her performance at the show.
Sol Ruca teamed up with Jordynne Grace and Masha Slamovich to face Wendy Choo, Rosemary, and Tasha Steelz on October 10, 2024. The match saw the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion team up with her previous challenger, Ruca, and her upcoming challenger, Slamovich, to exact revenge on Choo and Rosemary.
Notably, the duo had attacked The Juggernaut multiple times on NXT and also interfered in her title defense against Sol. While Ruca and her team won the match, she also played the role of the peacemaker in her team, when Grace stole the pinfall opportunity from Slamovich.
While speaking about Ruca's performance on the Tru Heel Heart Wrestling podcast, Sami Callihan said that she can do things few other people can. Moreover, he also factored in Sol Ruca still being very green in the pro wrestling business while praising her ability to deliver.

"For someone that is rather inexperienced, she's out of this world. Some of the things she can do in this ring and her presence are wild," Sami Callihan said. [11:48 - 12:12]
A current WWE champion wants to face Sol Ruca in a best-of-seven series
While Sol Ruca has been receiving praise from the pro wrestling industry, she has also got the attention of current NXT Women's North American Champion Kelani Jordan. While speaking on the Muscle Memory podcast, the 25-year-old star expressed her desire to go one-on-one against Ruca in a best-of-seven series. Moreover, she ranked Sol alongside big names like Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and Naomi:
"I would love to have a best of seven or five, whatever, with Sol. I think because of Heatwave, it was like one of my favorite matches. So then I would say her. Then, for just in general, I would love to have maybe a tie between Bianca and Naomi and Charlotte. I can’t pick. I love them." [H/T PWMania]
Jordan has already defended her title against Sol Ruca once at NXT Heatwave in July 2024. She was full of praise for her opponent even back then and it seems her opinion hasn't changed.
It would be interesting to see if Jordan gets to fulfill her wish in NXT and if Ruca gets another shot at the prestigious gold.
