A former WWE Superstar recently disclosed that she did not want to be a professional wrestler. The star in question only competed in 28 matches during her career.

Terri Runnels is most known for her time as a manager in wrestling but did compete in the ring as well during her career. In an interview with JBL and Gerald Brisco on Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, Runnels shared that she liked to take bumps, but did not want to be a professional wrestler. The veteran added that she would get physically ill if she had to compete in a match.

"I loved being in the business. I loved taking bumps. I did not want to be a wrestler...I just didn't want it...I would get to TV's, and I literally would be nauseated until I found out whether I was managing that night or if I was wrestling. If I found out I was managing that night and taking a bump, woo, beautiful, awesome, wonderful, love it. If I got to TV's and I realized I had to wrestle someone, I would go up to the highest level of the arena and vomit my heelstrings up," she said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

Runnels' time in WWE came to an end in 2004, but she returned in 2018 for an appearance during RAW's 25th anniversary show.

Terri Runnels on if WWE asked her to compete in the Women's Royal Rumble

Wrestling veteran, Terri Runnels shared that she was not asked to compete at WWE Evolution, or in a Women's Royal Rumble Match.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling in 2018, Runnels was asked if the promotion reached out to her to compete in a Women's Royal Rumble Match or appear at WWE Evolution. She noted that she was not, but added that she was not a trained wrestler, and would become sick to her stomach if Vince McMahon wanted her to compete in the ring.

"You know, I don't know. Here's what's interesting, I hadn't thought about this until the other day when someone said, 'Well, Terri was a trained wrestler, not a good one, but at least she was trained'. No, the hell I wasn't. I would get to the building and I would nine times out of ten, when Vince started making me wrestle, I'd be sick to my stomach until I found out if I was wrestling or managing," she said.

Ken Shamrock believes Terri Runnels never got to show her potential during her tenure in WWE. The veteran recently shared that he had signed a new Legends deal with the promotion.
