While Michael Cole has been a commentator in WWE for a long time, he has been involved in a few wars of words with certain talents. The 55-year-old has been at odds with AJ Francis (fka Top Dolla) over the last several months and the latter recently sent a warning to the veteran after putting a female star through a table.
During his short pro wrestling career, AJ Francis has had two brief stints with the Stamford-based promotion. The former Hit Row member's latest run with the company came to an end last year. During his second stint, the wrestler received a lot of flak from Michael Cole after he botched an over-the-top-rope suicide dive. The duo have continued to take shots at each other since then.
Francis joined TNA Wrestling after getting released from WWE where he did not take long to win the TNA Digital Media Championship. He showcased his vicious side on the latest edition of TNA iMPACT as he put Steph De Lander through a table. The former Hit Row member then took to social media to send a warning to Michael Cole, stating that he was next.

It should be noted that WWE now has a working relationship with TNA Wrestling and thus AJ Francis has an opportunity to show up in his former company.
AJ Francis believes that WWE wanted to bury him with Michael Cole's insults
AJ Francis used to get insulted every week by Michael Cole during his second stint with the global juggernaut. The former WWE Superstar stated in a recent interview that he believes that the company's end goal was to bury him.
"Yeah, I mean... Because the goal was never for me and the goal from them was never for me and Cole to get over with the segment, it was for them to try to bury me, right? But the problem is, you can throw as much dirt on me as you want. I'm like The Undertaker. I'm coming back to f**k your life, right? That's why I'm here right now."
Top Dolla was infamously termed "Flop Dolla" by Cole after the former failed to properly execute a top rope maneuver. He ended up leaving the company after a disappointing second run.
