A former WWE Superstar recently disclosed some scrapped plans involving The Bella Twins. This would've been a dream match for the fans.
Peyton Royce made a name for herself in WWE NXT as part of the tag team with Billie Kay called the IIconics. Their charisma and personality helped them get over with the fans and impressed WWE. This helped them get a call up to the main roster. On the main roster, the IIconics captured the Women's Tag Team Championship one time. During their time in WWE, they established themselves as one of the top heels in the company. However, their time in the Stamford-based promotion was cut short when they were released in 2021.
During a recent interview with Ring The Belle, Peyton Royce mentioned that they were supposed to be involved in a storyline with The Bella Twins between WrestleMania and SummerSlam but those plans were scrapped.
“All I know is that we were supposed to go into a story apparently from Wrestlemania to SummerSlam. That’s all I know,” Peyton Royce admitted. "Yeah, I know. That would have been a dream come true for us. But everything happens for a reason.” [H/T - WrestleZone]

Peyton Royce on her supposed scrapped plans against WWE legends Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool
Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool have made sporadic appearance for the WWE, appearing in the Women's Royal Rumble matches. However, they haven't been involved in any major storyline. However, that was apparently set to change.
In the same interview, it was revealed that Torrie Wilson mentioned on her podcast that she and Michelle McCool were supposed to take on The IIconics. However, Peyton Royce said that this was the first time she was hearing of any such plans.
“Oh, stop! No, I didn’t! Oh my gosh. So many missed opportunities,” Peyton Royce said. “No, I had no idea, that would have been a dream come true as well.”
It's unfortunate that fans were close to getting a dream match between The IIconics and The Bella Twins only for it to be scrapped.
