Former WWE Superstar pushes for Michael Cole to become a General Manager

Michael Cole is currently the most experienced commentator in WWE. He has been a part of the Stamford-based company for over two and a half decades. Former WWE Superstar AJ Francis (fka Top Dolla) recently shared a social media post pushing for Cole to become a General Manager this year.

The veteran commentator recently made an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show ahead of RAW's debut on Netflix. Talking about the upcoming show, Cole hyped the card, comparing it to the levels of WrestleMania. Responding to McAfee's questions, the 56-year-old pointed out that he has missed only three shows during his staggering career of nearly 28 years.

AJ Francis took to his X (fka Twitter) account to reshare a clip of Michael Cole speaking on the Pat McAfee Show. The 34-year-old noted that the veteran commentator hailed as "The Voice of WWE" should be a General Manager in 2025.

"Michael Cole for GM in 2025," he wrote.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will return to commentary for Monday Night RAW on the show's Netflix debut. Cole's moving back to the red brand has left Corey Graves as SmackDown's sole commentator.

While speaking to Jimmy Traina on SI Media, Triple H revealed that Joe Tessitore will join Corey Graves at the announcer's desk. The Game pointed out that the former RAW commentator had been a wrestling fan even before he signed with WWE.

"Yes," Triple H replied to being asked if Tessitore would be on SmakDown.[...] He added," He's such a massive fan. Even before he was doing anything with us, Joe would text me on stuff. We became friends through Nick [Khan]. He would be telling me, 'I saw on this podcast,' and I don't even know what he'satalking about, and it's my job to know what he's talking about." Joe Tessitore debuted as Monday Night RAW's play-by-play commentator alongside Wade Barrett in early September last year. It will be interesting to see how he works with Corey Graves on the blue brand.
