Former WWE Superstar, Velveteen Dream, has been surrounded by controversy over the past few years. However, it seems that he has decided to make a drastic change.

The former NXT North American Champion recently took to his Instagram story where he shared that he had dyed his hair red. The length of his hair is also much shorter than when he was in the Stamford-based promotion, but it seems like he wanted a change. You can check out a screengrab of his Instagram story below.

Dream's departure from WWE was a controversial one since he was surrounded by several allegations of inappropriate se*ual activity. Since 2021, the former star has been the subject of other accusations and he was then forced to share a public apology six months ago.

Will Velveteen Dream ever return to WWE?

Velveteen Dream's personal issues were the reason for his WWE release but given that he has shown remorse for his actions and submitted an apology earlier this year, it seems that many fans are pushing for him to come back.

Not only fans, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry also recently advocated for a return for Dream. While speaking at K&S Wrestlefest he noted that his wildcard pick for a modern-day Nation of Domination would be the 28-year-old star.

"And there’s a lot of young guys that I think could hold up. But, my wildcard would probably be Velveteen Dream, would be Patrick [Clark]. I think it’s time for his second chance. A lot of people in the world of wrestling love the talent. We’re in a cancel culture that is justified as so. We need a cancel culture. But, at some point, you gotta have grace and forgiveness and you gotta see if that person is gonna bury themselves again because habitual line steppers, that’s exactly who they are. Once they get that second chance and they’re out, I ain’t cosigning for you no more. But, everybody needs their second chance. I think that would be my new Nation," said Henry.

Either way, it seems that Dream is looking for a fresh start and Triple H may just be open to that.
