Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona has made a name for himself with his presence online and his performances on the indie scene. The former Zack Ryder recently conceded that he thinks that former WWE Tag Team Champion Heath Slater is the funniest guy in the locker room.
Slater had a 14-year run with the company where he clinched the WWE Tag Team Title thrice and the SmackDown Tag Team Title once. Several fans believe that the former Nexus member is a highly underrated talent. Notably, both Slater and Ryder were released in 2020 from the Stamford-based promotion.
A fan recently asked Matt Cardona on X/Twitter to name the funniest guy he has ever shared a locker room with. In response, Cardona tweeted that Heath Slater was the one without putting a lot of effort into it.

TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace has had an ironclad grip on her title since winning it on January 13, 2024. The Juggernaut is yet to be defeated and is also heading into TNA Bound for Glory on October 26, 2024, as a favorite. When a fan page on X/Twitter recently asked fans to use three words to describe Grace, Matt Cardona admitted that she was stronger than him.
“Stronger Than Me,” wrote Cardona.
While the former Intercontinental Champion is giving everybody their flowers, he himself has achieved a lot while on the indie scene. The erstwhile Zack Ryder has won several world titles since being released by WWE, including winning the top prize in NWA and GCW. He was even a part of TNA, winning their Digital Media Championship.
It would be interesting to see if he makes it back in the Stamford-based promotion and possibly wrestle alongside his wife and current WWE star Chelsea Green.
