Former WWE Tag Team Champions "haven't seen eye to eye" for a while; breakup teased

Former WWE Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Grayson Waller have been teasing a split for months. Since Elimination Chamber 2024, both men have had some ups and downs. However, the duo has managed to stick together with a singular goal - to reach the top of the tag team division.

During a recent edition of The West Sport, Grayson Waller addressed the issues he and Theory have faced over the past few months. While there are visible differences between the two men, the 34-year-old called it a "real friendship."

Further, The A-Town Down Under star added that he and his tag team partner didn't see "eye-to-eye" in some particular situations. However, they managed to eliminate their differences and continue to have each other's backs.

“You know, that's what a real friendship is. You know, if you're really close with someone, you don't always see eye to eye. And there have been situations when me and Theory haven't seen eye to eye, but we work through it because we know there are bigger and better things for us as a tag team,” stated Waller. Further, The Aussie Icon added that his relationship with Theory was quite 'realistic' and that their only goal right now was to reclaim the WWE Tag Team Championship.

While Waller teased a run for the Tag Team Championships alongside Theory, he further exclaimed uncertainity over what the future holds, teasing that a split could be in the cards for A-Town Down Under.

"But I think me and Theory is a realistic relationship. When you have two guys who are very passionate, very driven, and very stubborn about doing it their way, sometimes they're going to clash. And for right now, we're looking at those Tag Team Championships again, but who knows what 2025 will bring.” [12: 18 onwards]

With WrestleMania 41 on the horizon, Grayson Waller being featured as a top star is quite a possibility. However, it is still uncertain if he would stick with his tag team partner, Austin Theory, or if a mega-feud between both men will grace the card for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

With a lot of anticipation for a rivalry between the duo, a massive split could end up bringing a lot of spotlight to WrestleMania. WWE Royal Rumble 2025 could potentially be the foundation for their feud, with the duo eliminating each other from the Men's Royal Rumble match.

Only time will tell what WWE has planned for the former Tag Team Champions.
