Sheamus is an ideal spot on WWE RAW. But whether Triple H and his creative team capitalize on it bears watching.
WWE Bash in Berlin is scheduled to air live from the Uber Arena in Germany on August 31, and Sheamus is in the midst of a rivalry with his former Brawling Brutes protégé, Pete Dunne. It is a program fans have got behind owing to their history and the Irishman's status as a beloved veteran.
Pete Dunne recently claimed that it was Sheamus who gave him the name Butch, a gimmick he retired after leaving The Brawling Brutes. Taking to X, Sheamus responded to this with a degree of levity:
"Full disclosure Pete… i called you b*tch, you just heard me wrong," Sheamus wrote.

It seems WWE is building Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne with patience, as they have smartly kept the two stalwarts apart thus far. By now fans of The Celtic Warrior are well aware of his grit and hard-hitting in-ring style. Dunne is no different. It is only a matter of time before they square off in a match that could easily steal the show at any event.
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley praises Sheamus for his wrestling style
Bobby Lashley is currently out of action owing to an arm injury. He recently looked back at a match he had with Sheamus, calling the latter his toughest opponent.
The All Mighty praised Sheamus for what he brings to the table, and also his frame of mind. He stated that The Celtic Warrior takes as much as he throws, which makes the contests he is part of highly competitive, and this in turn, is a win for the fans:
"Sure enough, when we started that match, Sheamus came in hard. Boom! He clubbed me so hard and I was like, 'Oh. I'm in a fight.' We really fighting. He likes it. That's what he does. Sheamus is a different character. It's like, what he gives, he takes. So I was like, 'Okay. So we just going to beat each other up here, and it's going to be a good match because of it,'" he said.
Sheamus returned to WWE in April 2024 after needing eight months to heal up from injuries and is yet to be featured on a premium live event. Perhaps that could change at Bash in Berlin on August 31.
