WWE Superstar CM Punk kicked off the Netflix era with an impressive win over bitter rival Seth Rollins on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. However, what he did after the match garnered more praise from the wrestling world.
The Second City Saint spoke to Jackie Redmond after securing a pinfall victory. After stating that age is just a number and that he is coming for a title in 2025, Punk dedicated his match against The Visionary to TNA star Chris Bey and New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert. While Bey suffered a devastating neck injury last year in October, Gilbert has been diagnosed with cancer multiple times.
TNA star Gail Kim took to her X (FKA Twitter) account to share her reaction to a clip of CM Punk dedicating his match to Chris Bey. The former WWE Women's Champion noted it was an incredible gesture and further expressed her love for the wrestling community.
"That is freakin awesome. I love our wrestling community❤️," she wrote.

Former WWE Champion shares his honest opinion on CM Punk
The Best in The World is currently feuding with Seth Rollins. The Visionary recently claimed that Punk turns him into a worse version of himself.
Speaking to Jackie Redmond in a sit-down interview, Seth claimed he cannot control himself whenever Punk's name is brought up. The former WWE Champion added that his hatred for The Voice of The Voiceless turns him into a worse friend, husband, father, and person in general, making him hate himself.
"Every time CM Punk has been brought up in the past decade, whether it be interviews or conversations, there's this switch that just goes off in my mind, and I can't seem to find a way to turn it off. And it affects everything that I do. CM Punk makes me a worse person. And I realized when I went home that week, he makes me a worse friend; he makes me a worse husband; he makes me a worse father. He makes me hate myself because I'm so consumed with this hatred. And I don't want that. I don't want that for myself. It's not healthy. It's not healthy for my life, for my career, [and] for my family," he said.

With CM Punk beating Seth Rollins clean in the middle of the ring, it will be interesting to see what plans the wrestling promotion has for the two stars. Only the upcoming episodes of RAW will shed light on whether a rematch takes place or not.
