WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker left fans in splits with his 'apology' to one of his former rivals on Twitter.
In 2004, "The Deadman" version of The Undertaker made a huge return at WrestleMania XX against Kane. He defeated him and thus exacted revenge for what happened at Survivor Series 2003. At the event, The Big Red Machine helped Vince McMahon bury Taker in a "Buried Alive" match.
After defeating Kane, Taker kicked off a feud with JBL over the WWE Championship. At SummerSlam 2004, The Phenom viciously put him through the roof of his limo. The latter appeared on SmackDown with a neck brace and a stand that held his signature hat above his head.
JBL recently tweeted a message stating that what happened back then was a 'crime' perpetrated against him by Taker. In an amusing response, the latter apologized to the fellow Hall of Famer, and fans are having a field day over the same.

What exactly happened between The Undertaker and JBL at SummerSlam 2004?
At SummerSlam 2004, The Phenom and JBL met in a WWE Championship match. The almost 20-minute encounter ended with the latter winning via a DQ. The Deadman was enraged and executed a vicious chokeslam on his opponent through the roof of his limo.
JBL once revealed that he thought he was going to die that night. Check out what he said:
"A fan ran across the limo, he should have fallen through. When he didn’t. I thought the wrong limo Must have been brought in, so I wrestled this match thinking I’m gonna die at the end. I was as surprised as anyone when I went through it, I figured I’d probably wake up in hospital. Lol."
JBL somehow managed to keep the belt on his shoulder for a whopping 10 months. He finally lost it to John Cena at WrestleMania 21.
