Gunther sent a message naming a new group after appearing with two other stars at an event recently. This happened after a surprise appearance at a WWE live event.

Gunther and Cody Rhodes will be wrestling each other at Crown Jewel for the new title introduced by Triple H. Prior to the premium live event in Saudi Arabia next month, the champions shared a moment together when they entered the ring at a WWE live event in Manchester, England. But before that, Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall also entered the squared circle and stood with the WWE Superstars after The Ring General made his appearance.

Aspinall is from England and was welcomed to the ring by Cody Rhodes, and received a standing ovation when he entered the ring with them. Rhodes and Aspinall got on well enough, and seeing that these are rarely televised moments, Gunther decided to break character as well and stood together with them.

The three stars were photographed together, and The Ring General later posted a picture of them together and decided to name the group, "The TKOGrp 3."

The three are the top champions in WWE and UFC, and as such make quite a formidable trio for TKO.

Gunther rarely breaks character in WWE

Although he's easily one of the most popular stars in WWE at the moment, The Ring General barely ever breaks his heel character. This appearance with Aspinall and Rhodes was thus special, as it was a rare opportunity where the man behind the character came out a little.

In a few days, the star will battle Cody Rhodes in an effort to become the new Crown Jewel Champion, an honor he would be eager for.

Given what is at stake, The Ring General will likely do whatever it takes, but it remains to be seen if his words and shots at Goldberg come back to haunt him, given the former WWE legend's recent issues with him.
