Gunther came up with a plan to blindside Damian Priest on the latest episode of WWE RAW, but it didn't end up the way he expected it to. His plan was unsuccessful, as he was the one lying on the floor in the end.
At Survivor Series, The Ring General will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against The Archer of Infamy. The latter earned the right to challenge for the title after winning the Fatal Four-Way No. 1 Contender's Match. Plus, Damian Priest was the one who dropped the belt to the champion at SummerSlam.
During a backstage segment on this week's WWE RAW, Gunther asked his partner Ludwig Kaiser whether he still saw the old Ring General when he looked at him. Kaiser said he did and that nothing had changed. The World Champion mentioned that Priest didn't get under his skin and told Ludwig to deal with the latter during the show.
The former Judgment Day member was sitting not far from Imperium, signing autographs. Gunther grabbed Priest and locked him in a sleeper hold. However, Damian pushed the heel onto a big box and kicked him in the midsection after he tried to hit him with a steel pipe.
The Ring General was lying in pain on the floor, and Damian Priest sat on a chair and told him that he might be the general in the ring, but he was the king in the streets.
