Gunther is set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series
While The Ring General failed to win the WWE Men's Crown Jewel Championship against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel 2024, he is still one of the biggest stars in the industry.
Gunther is set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against former Judgment Day member Damian Priest at WWE Survivor Series 2024. The rivalry between both men ended abruptly back at SummerSlam after Finn Balor cost Priest his world title.
However, after winning a No. 1 contender's Fatal Four-Way Match on RAW a couple of weeks ago, Priest has earned his spot back at the top. A win at Survivor Series would crown Priest as the only star to have multiple reigns as the World Heavyweight Champion. However, considering his recent run, it is unlikely that WWE would take the title off Gunther's shoulders. Time will tell what plans WWE has in store for The Ring General.
