Gunther reacts after breaking character to turn babyface and threaten major WWE star returning from retirement

Gunther was at the Netflix Kickoff show, and there, with the mic in his hand, he appeared to turn babyface, breaking his usual heel character. He has threatened a star.

Logan Paul was moved to WWE RAW and announced as much on the show and social media soon after. Paul said that he was unretired on his social media post and let everyone know that 2025 would be his year. With him clearly going after titles, Gunther was not having it and let him know as much when he spoke about it.

Gunther's comments about the heel star instantly turned him face to the crowd, and he was cheered for it. He said that he was going to slap Logan Paul should he come after the title. This was a bit of a character break for the star, who was clearly playing to the audience's hate of Paul instead of maintaining his own heel-ish character.

"If Logan Paul thinks he can walk in here and take this away from me, if he ever makes it to the top of the line to challenge me for the World Heavyweight Championship, it will be my duty, and my pleasure, to slap that stupid smirk out off his face."

He has now tweeted that clip, along with the hand emoji indicating a slap.

The star was left being cheered by WWE fans who have now planted themselves firmly in the corner of The Ring General, should he ever have to face Logan Paul.

Given Paul's reputation for always going after the top stars in WWE, Gunther will likely not have to wait too long before the star on RAW challenges him. Fans will have to wait and see how this turns out.
