Gunther sends a message to Cody Rhodes ahead of RAW

WWE Superstars Gunther and Cody Rhodes have been firing shots at each other for quite some weeks now. Both top champions have been questioning how the other conducts themselves and how they will beat each other for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship on November 2. Now, ahead of RAW, The World Heavyweight Champ has sent a message to Rhodes.

The American Nightmare had invited The Ring General to Friday Night SmackDown last week. The Undisputed WWE Champion wanted him to relay his reason for thinking he would be the one to win the Crown Jewel Championship. Gunther followed through with the invitation and invalidated Rhodes’ reason for winning the title for his daughter.

Additionally, he also called The American Nightmare a 'gutless champion' for not being able to say no to anybody, especially the WWE Universe. While he had already said that such a champion would always be secondary to him, he has now sent a tweet on X highlighting Rhodes’ inability to stand up to fans.

“GUTLESS!”

During the show, a video segment featuring the World Heavyweight Champion once again called Rhodes a spineless servant of the fans. Previously, Cody Rhodes had alleged that The Imperium's leader breaks under pressure when his arsenal of moves fails to work on his opponents.

It will be interesting to see how Cody Rhodes responds to a verbal weapon used by Gunther and if he can make him break in Saudi Arabia.
