WWE is getting closer to Bad Blood in Atlanta, and several matches have been sanctioned for the event. Meanwhile, Hall of Famer Bret Hart broke silence on his return to the company for the first time in two years.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Bret 'The Hitman' Hart would appear on Monday Night RAW in Calgary, Canada. The Hall of Famer returned to the company live in color for the first time in two years, as his last appearance was in Wales at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022.

Today, WWE uploaded a video where The Hitman addressed his return to the company for the first time in two years. The Hall of Famer was ecstatic to walk into the building where he's made many memories over the past few decades.

"I didn't just assume or take for granted that they're going to invite me down tonight. But anytime I get a chance to be in front of the Calgary fans. I mean, it's a very special, powerful building for me to walk in. A lot of memories here, a lot of great memories, a lot of title matches," Hart said. [From 0:01 - 0:28]

He added:

"I mean, I don't know if I looked a little bit nervous because I'm not sure that I was. But I think standing in the middle of the ring for a few seconds it's all the transformation takes place. I mean, I think I transformed back into Bret 'The Hitman' Hart for a minute for everyone. It was fun for me to do that, and it was something magical that was brought out by the love of the fans," Hart said. (From 0:40 to 01:10)

Bret Hart had a segment on WWE RAW with top names

Bret Hart is no stranger to gold, as he's a former five-time WWE and two-time WCW World Champion. The Hitman hasn't competed in over a decade, but fans and superstars have often looked up to him.

However, Gunther decided to take a few shots at the veteran when he appeared in Canada. The World Heavyweight Champion mocked the veteran and stated he preferred Bill Goldberg over him.

This eventually led to a war of words with Sami Zayn and a brawl to cap off the segment. It looks like Zayn vs. Gunther II is on the cards for the World Heavyweight Championship in the coming weeks.
