Finn Bálor, Dominik Mysterio, Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh, and Carlito make up The Judgment Day currently. This group has come a long way from when WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland, aka Edge, brought it together. But has the faction run its course? Former WWE personality Matt Camp has commented on the matter.
This past Monday, the group's original member, Rhea Ripley, was the bearer of bad news for Liv Morgan. Ripley informed Morgan that she was the new number-one contender for the Women's World Championship. During the RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, Adam Pearce made it official for January 6, 2025. Another disappointment the faction had to endure this week was losing the World Tag Team Championship. The War Raiders defeated Bálor and JD on Monday, thanks to a timely interference from another original member of the group, Damian Priest.
Evidently, there are cracks within the once-dominant faction. On his podcast The Wrestling Matt, Camp reminded everyone that The Judgment Day still drew big numbers so it was not fair to say that they do not need to be around anymore. However, the analyst noted that the group does not have the same dynamic it once did when Ripley and Priest were part of it.
"I can't say that [The Judgment Day has overstayed its welcome] because they're drawing. I don't think it's nearly the same dynamic without Rhea and Damian. That's also pretty obvious," Matt Camp said. [From 39:39 to 39:48]

WWE analyst Sam Roberts feels that The Judgment Day should split
Sam Roberts stated on his podcast Notsam Wrestling that it was time for The Judgment Day to part ways. However, Roberts also added that WWE should keep the trio of Liv Morgan, 'Dirty' Dom, and Raquel Rodriguez together post-split.
According to the analyst, the reason why they split should be Liv Morgan losing the Women's World Championship to Rhea Ripley on WWE RAW's Netflix premiere. Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh have already dropped the World Tag Team Championship, and The Prince failed to win the World Heavyweight Title at Saturday Night's Main Event.
"So, this really feels like a declarative winner and we use this to move on to wherever we're going next with both of those characters. And with the way Judgment Day is kinda falling apart, I would not be surprised to see Liv Morgan lose the Women's World Championship to Rhea Ripley on that first episode of RAW and then have The Judgment Day kind of collapse around that fact," he said.
Interestingly, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. called the culmination of Bálor vs. Priest program the "destruction of Finn Bálor." Could that be the case in the coming weeks? Is The Judgment Day going to implode? Only time will tell.
