"He cared so much" - Female WWE legend praises Triple H for heartfelt gesture

A WWE legend recently shared how Triple H helped her prepare for a match more than 20 years ago. The King of Kings is currently the Chief Content Officer of the Stamford-based promotion.

Trish Stratus hosted Money in the Bank earlier this year in Toronto, Canada. The WWE Hall of Famer has not competed since her loss to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match at Payback 2023.

In an interview with Inside the Ropes, Stratus shared that the 55-year-old had helped her and Stephanie McMahon prepare for their singles match against each other at No Way Out 2001.

"One day, Triple H came in, and I remember thinking, ‘That’s so generous of him to care so much about us as characters on the show.’ He was there to help us put the match together, which was so kind of him. His involvement helped elevate everything and exceeded expectations," said Stratus.

The Hall of Famer added that The Cerebral Assassin cared not only about their contest but wanted every match to be good as he wanted the show to succeed. She also noted how everyone was very thankful to the legend for all his help and support.

"And then we had Coach Hunter—Triple H—cheering us on from the sidelines. He cared so much, not just about our match but about the show as a whole and all the characters involved. He wanted the match to succeed because he wanted the show to succeed. That level of dedication made such a difference, and we’re really grateful for it," she added. [H/T: WrestleZone]

Former WWE writer takes shot at Triple H

Former head writer for the Stamford-based promotion and wrestling legend Vince Russo recently took a shot at Triple H and claimed that he was a mark.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo questioned why the company was pushing IYO SKY. The veteran claimed that both The Game and Shawn Michaels were marks for being so invested in The Genius of the Sky.

"Yeah, because they love her at the WWE. They love her, so you should love her. Don't you know how it works, bro? They are high on her, so you should be high on her. You don't need to know anything about her. Just know that they are high on her, bro, and you should be high on her too. They are marks, bro, they are such marks! Triple H is a mark.
