The Bloodline saga moved along on the final WWE SmackDown episode before Crown Jewel, and as expected, Roman Reigns properly reunited with The Usos. During the post-show review, Dutch Mantell put over Jey Uso's work and felt the star was the MVP of the angle.
As seen on the blue brand, Roman Reigns was joined by Jey and Jimmy Uso as the trio looked to get on the same page before Crown Jewel.
Jey Uso recalled how he suffered from his past association with Roman Reigns, and this time around, he wanted to be treated as equals. Jey wanted Roman's respect and delivered an effective promo to get his point across to WWE's OTC.
Dutch Mantell noted that Jey Uso did a "great job" as WWE booked a predictable but impactful segment involving the Samoans.

The former WWE manager revealed:
"He did a great job, I thought because; I missed a lot of the stuff (lately), and, really, I watched a lot of the stuff for the first time tonight, but he carried this whole segment. Roman is surprised he didn't say more than he said, but there was no need for him to say it. So that means he is helping these guys to get their rightful place, but it was solidified tonight by Roman Reigns." [47:00 onwards]
Roman Reigns and The Usos will battle Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu at Crown Jewel in a potentially explosive six-man tag team match that sets up the next chapter in The Bloodline storyline.
