CM Punk is set to make a grand in-ring WWE return at The Biggest Party of the Summer in Cleveland. Meanwhile, two-time NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez commented on The Second City Saint ahead of his match against Drew McIntyre.
CM Punk has been increasingly involved in the growth of the stars of tomorrow in the Stamford-based promotion. The Second City Saint has spent his time in the Performance Center around several upcoming names in the industry.
In an interview with Gorilla Position, Roxanne Perez was asked about The Straight Edge Superstar ahead of his big match. The Prodigy stated that Punk's previous comments didn't sit well with her, but she still picked him over Drew McIntyre as the veteran has done a lot for her.
"Me and CM Punk, you know, he does help me a lot but, he does get on my nerves a little bit sometimes. So, I can see why Drew McIntyre can feel the way he's feeling (...) I can't really decide but I'll just say CM Punk because he's done quite a bit for me," Perez said. (From 00:15 to 00:48)

Roxanne Perez wants AJ Lee to return to WWE
AJ Lee, CM Punk's other half, has often been the talk of the town after the return of The Second City Saint. Lee is an established name in WWE as she was once the longest-reigning Divas Champion in the company.
In an interview on The PWI Podcast, two-time NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez expressed her interest in wanting AJ Lee to return to WWE and face a new generation of superstars, including herself.
"Definitely, yeah, I try [to talk to CM Punk about convincing AJ Lee to return] but he tells me that he’s doing the same thing. He’s trying to get her to come back, he’s pulling her in but, I hope one day she decides to come back and have a match with me," Perez said.
