Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell feels LA Knight didn't get the same reception from the SmackDown fans this week.
Knight is coming off probably the biggest weekend of his life. He tagged with John Cena at Fastlane to take on the duo of Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. The Megastar picked up the win for his team when he landed the BFT on Uso.
This week on Smack Talk, Knight had lost a bit of steam, according to Mantell. He felt that The Megastar's popularity had gone down slightly. However, the veteran acknowledged his star power and lauded him for the great match against Solo Sikoa during the main event.
"I was gonna say something about LA Knight. I thought the people were hot but they were not hot as I thought they would be for him. I think he kinda cooled off a little bit. I did catch him one time talking. You could almost read his lips. But they had a pretty good match through. They really did." [From 08:17 to 08:44]

Mantell feels WWE has many options with LA Knight and Roman Reigns
During the same discussion, Mantell pointed out that WWE was in a great place with several of its stars peaking at the right time. He pointed out that the company has many options for a huge feud with Roman Reigns.
"It wasn't a bad show, but it wasn't a blowaway show. But they did open a bunch of doors. They got so many doors to go through, windows to climb out of. Everything. This is all open. To me, if it makes sense, then it'll work to some extent." [From 07:44 to 08:08]
This week, The Tribal Chief laid out LA Knight in the final moments of the show, hinting at the start of a new rivalry. Earlier, Reigns also had a run-in with former rival Cody Rhodes. It will be interesting to see how The Bloodline chapter unfolds in the weeks leading up to Crown Jewel and Survivor Series.
