"He left Michael Cole there stuttering" - WWE legend reacts to Kevin Owens' in-car SmackDown interview (Exclusive)

WWE continues to come up with innovative ways to progress storylines and Kevin Owens' recent promos from his car have caught the fans' attention. Dutch Mantell was pretty happy with what he saw on this week's SmackDown.

Cole briefly left the commentary booth for a backstage interview with Kevin Owens, who was far from being in the best of moods.

KO had no intentions of being present in the arena and Cole instead joined the former Universal Champion in the parking lot in his rental vehicle for a chat with an unlikely backdrop.

The segment ended with Owens demanding Michael Cole to leave the car and Dutch Mantell was thoroughly impressed by the angle. At one point, Mantell noted that Kevin Owens had Cole in a state of bother, which added to the wrestling personality of The Prizefighter.

Kevin Owens has previously cut solo promos from his car and Dutch Mantell believed the new approach was working well for the WWE and the superstar himself:

"I think Kevin got his points in perfectly. He left Michael Cole there stuttering. Really, I don't even know what answer he could have come up with, that would have made him look like a bigger bu**hole than he was, or what Kevin was accusing him of being. But, it was a really, really good interview, I enjoyed it. I think Kevin, I'll leave those car interviews with Kevin." [From 23:55 onwards]

Kevin Owens ended SmackDown with a brutal attack on Cody Rhodes, who he will face at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14 for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Dutch Mantell was confident that the company would draw a great house for the upcoming show, especially after how they've booked Kevin Owens.
