WWE Superstar CM Punk has had tough luck with injuries since returning to the squared circle in 2021. While many are hoping for the star to have an injury-free run upon his return to action, Vince Russo believes that he won't be able to go on for even three months.

The Second City Saint made a phenomenal return to the pro wrestling world in 2021 when he joined AEW. However, his tenure with the company was filled with controversies and injuries. He left All Elite Wrestling in September 2023, following which he joined WWE. He later got hurt in his first WWE match in nearly a decade.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo made a bold prediction about CM Punk's WWE run. He claimed that The Second City Saint would sustain an injury within three months of his return to the squared circle.

"Can I make a bold prediction? I hate to say this but when Punk comes back, he’s gonna be injured in three months. I am telling you, man. He is old, bro. He can’t do what he used to do without getting hurt. He is older, he hasn’t been in the ring in how long? He’s not gonna hold up." [From 1:08:44 onwards]
