Cody Rhodes has been at the top of WWE for quite a while now. However, a wrestling veteran has pointed out a massive problem with The American Nightmare that could greatly affect other WWE stars.

Speaking on The Steve Richards Show, former wrestler Steve Richards was asked to comment on Cody Rhodes being a problem. His co-host, James Romero, revealed that fans were worried about two things.

Romero mentioned a comment claiming Cody was a problem, one because he kicked out of way too many finishers and two because he had to use three to four Cross Rhodes to beat his opponents.

Richards touched upon Rhodes' finisher, claiming his decision or the company's decision to have him use three to four on some wrestlers and less on others might be viewed as a problem.

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

"The talent, they may not be saying it to him, but they'll be whispering, 'What's the deal? [...] Me, one, and everybody else, three to four? So, you're saying I'm not over.' This is the real slippery slope of this,'" claimed Steve Richards. [1:50-2:05]

Richards also claimed earlier that this habit could build resentment in the locker room.

Cody Rhodes is scheduled to face Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble

Speaking of finishers, Cody Rhodes will be looking to finish the job at the Royal Rumble 2025. Over the last few months, the Undisputed WWE Champion has been embroiled in a blood feud with his former friend, Kevin Owens.

After taking a devastating package piledriver from KO, Rhodes returned last week on SmackDown. He challenged The Prizefighter to a ladder match at the Royal Rumble, where the winner takes it all. This includes his Undisputed WWE Championship and the Winged Eagle WWE Championship that Owens has been running around with since Saturday Night's Main Event.

It's going to be a do-or-die match for both Rhodes and KO. Their rivalry and hatred for each other have gone on long enough. So, hopefully, it all comes to an end, one way or another, at the Royal Rumble.
